Box Delicious - How Does it Work?
Box Delicious - The Flexible Subscription Box
What are the Subscription options?
Box Delicious can be purchased for either 3, 6 or 12 month subscription periods, you receive one box each month.
How is payment taken for my Subscription?
When you subscribe to one of the Box Delicious options online, the price you see is the price you pay per month, you will be charged for the first box immediately. Payments for the remaining period of your subscription will be automatically taken from the same card used on or around the 17th of the month unless you request a different payment date by contacting us by email.
When does my Box Delicious arrive?
Your Box Delicious will arrive in time for the 3rd weekend of the month, the actual delivery dates can be found by clicking here.
What standard of products can I expect to receive in my Box?
The contents of all our boxes are hand selected and of the highest quality. We've taken great care to source not only some great French products, but also products from around Europe and the UK. The wines are far removed from wine you buy in the supermarket and the cheeses and other food accompaniments are sourced from some excellent artisan producers and are of a standard that is pretty special.
Can I change my delivery dates?
Yes of course! If you are going on holiday, keeping Box Delicious for a special occasion or for any other reason, you can request by email to change your delivery date. You can call us to do this, but we would need it in writing (by email) from your subscription address before we can actually send it. The actual delivery dates can be found by clicking here.
Can I send my Box Delicious to a different address?
Yes you can, this is particularly useful if you want to use your subscription to send Box Delicious as a gift each month to someone different!
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Box?
Yes you can, if you want to change for a time for instance from the Box Delicious Charcuterie to the Box Delicious Original for one month and even then send it as a gift to a different address if you wanted to, then you can do this, just contact us by email to arrange this.
I don't really like Red Wine?
That's fine. In Box Delicious "Original" you can decide whether you would prefer either a Red or White bottle or you can just let us decide if you have no preference. In the Box Delicious "Grande" you will have a bottle of Red and White Wine selected for that month.
Can I get an extra Box delivered to myself or a friend as a gift?
If you do have a special occasion and you'd like to send Box Delicious as a gift or you would like an additional one delivered during the month, you can contact us to arrange this. The price per box would be the same as you pay for your existing monthly subscription.
On what day is Box Delicious delivered?
Your Box delicious will be delivered on a weekday, generally Thursday or Friday of the third week of the month. As it contains chilled, fresh Cheese, it is important that the courier can deliver to you on the day. So, we will request you nominate a safe place where the box can be left in the event that you are not at home when it arrives. This could be with a neighbour, in a sheltered place or it could be delivered to your workplace. In the summer months we would recommend that you suggest somewhere cool and safe to leave it. We can arrange delivery on a specific weekday if this would help. The actual delivery dates can be found by clicking here.
What happens if my Box doesn't arrive?
Although our lovely Couriers do their very best to get our packages to you, occasionally things can go wrong in transit...... although we have to say, it’s pretty rare!
We pride ourselves here at French Flavour for going that extra mile with our customer service, so if you do get any issues with your Box Delicious delivery, then please contact us and we will try our very best to resolve any problems as quickly as possible.
Do you deliver all over the UK?
As Box Delicious contains fresh cheese, we need to be able to deliver within 24 hours, We are unable to deliver unfortunately to the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly isles, some remote areas of Scotland, and the Scottish islands (postcodes beginning with AB, DD, FK, IV, KW, PA, PH). This is because we cannot guarantee that the order will be delivered within 24 hours. If you do live in these areas please contact us and we may be able to work something out, this however may incur an extra delivery charge, contact us to chat about it.
Cancellation of orders
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us by email at email@example.com or by telephone on 01978 356835 between 9.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday. Depending on when we receive your cancellation request, it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being sent out, however, If your order has already been dispatched, you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy. If we receive notice of your cancellation in time we will cancel the order and we will not charge your card.
