Roscoff Pink French Onions 1.6Kg

About This Product

The Roscoff pink onions owe their name to the colour of their skin and flesh and have been grown around the Finistère town of Roscoff for the past 400 years when a monk brought back a few seeds which he then planted in the monastery garden.

Roscoff pink onions are planted between mid-February and mid-April and once harvested from early August onwards the onions are destined for plaits.
The Onions are rich in vitamin C and can be enjoyed raw or cooked, in tarts, soups, confits etc.
